Track amounts, stage totals, and weighted value separately
To track deal value in Mautic, give each open deal an amount, then review value at three levels: the amount on each kanban card, the deal count and total amount in each stage header, and the weighted forecast in reports. Stage totals show where raw value sits. The forecast applies each open deal’s amount to its stage probability, so you can compare total pipeline value with a probability-adjusted view before deciding what to review next.
Deal Flow adds this Revenue Operations layer inside Mautic. The amount is optional, so a team can create a deal before its value is known and add the amount later. When an amount is present, the plugin displays it in the configured currency and carries it into the documented value views.

Record one amount on each deal
- Create or open the deal. Keep the deal in the pipeline and stage that describe its current state.
- Enter the amount when it is known. Deal Flow documents amount as an optional deal field and displays it in the configured currency.
- Keep the amount current. Update the deal when its commercial scope changes so the board and report calculations use the value your team is actually reviewing.
Use one consistent currency context. The live documentation describes deal amounts in the configured currency. This guide does not assume a separate currency setting for every deal.

Use the kanban board for raw stage totals
The kanban board keeps the value view close to the work. Each deal card can show its amount. Each stage header shows two roll-ups: the number of deals in that stage and their total amount. That makes it possible to see which stage contains the most raw value without opening every record.
These stage headers are raw totals. Probability weighting is a separate report calculation, so do not read a stage total as forecast value. Use the board to answer “where is the pipeline value now?” and the weighted forecast to answer “what is the stage-adjusted view?”

Use reports and dashboard widgets for the wider view
The Reports dashboard documents a weighted forecast calculated as the sum of each open deal’s amount multiplied by its stage probability. It also documents stage coverage by count and value, plus win/loss, velocity, owner, and at-risk reporting. Those views add operating context around the amounts you see on the board.
On Mautic’s home dashboard, the documented Pipeline Summary widget shows count and total value per stage. The Revenue Forecast widget shows the weighted forecast. Use those widgets when the value snapshot needs to sit beside the rest of the team’s day-to-day dashboard.

Work through a five-deal pipeline
Suppose a pipeline has four open stages with configured probabilities. The five example deals below total $150,000 in raw value. The final column applies the documented weighted-forecast formula to each row.
| Deal | Stage | Amount | Stage probability | Weighted contribution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acme | Qualification | $10,000 | 10% | $1,000 |
| Beacon | Discovery | $20,000 | 25% | $5,000 |
| Cedar | Proposal | $30,000 | 50% | $15,000 |
| Delta | Proposal | $40,000 | 50% | $20,000 |
| Ember | Negotiation | $50,000 | 75% | $37,500 |
On the board, the stage headers show Qualification with 1 deal and $10,000, Discovery with 1 and $20,000, Proposal with 2 and $70,000, and Negotiation with 1 and $50,000. Adding the five deal amounts gives the example’s $150,000 raw pipeline value.
In reports, the weighted contributions add to $78,500: $1,000 + $5,000 + $15,000 + $20,000 + $37,500. The Pipeline Summary widget can show the stage counts and totals, while the Revenue Forecast widget can show the weighted forecast.
The deal names and amounts are an illustrative calculation. Product output and the amount × stage probability formula were checked August 26, 2026 against Reports and dashboard widgets.
Review raw value and weighted value together
Start the review with the board’s raw stage totals. In the example, Proposal contains the most raw value at $70,000. Then compare the weighted contributions. Negotiation contributes the largest probability-adjusted amount at $37,500. Those are arithmetic observations from the example, not an automated ranking or a named product view.
Use the difference to guide questions rather than replace judgment. A large raw stage total may point to work that needs attention. A smaller weighted forecast may reflect deals sitting in earlier-probability stages. Review the underlying deals, their stage placement, and their amounts before acting on either number.
Keep the views distinct. Deal amounts feed the board’s raw stage totals and the reports’ probability-weighted forecast. Read both, but do not substitute one for the other.

Is a deal amount required?
No. Deal amount is optional. When provided, Deal Flow displays it in the configured currency and uses it in documented value reporting.
What deal value does the kanban board show?
The documented kanban output shows the amount on each deal card plus the deal count and total amount in each stage header. The documented weighted forecast appears in reports.
How is the weighted forecast calculated?
The documented formula is the sum of each open deal amount multiplied by that deal's stage probability. Closed deals are excluded from the calculation.
Can the Mautic dashboard show pipeline value?
Yes. Deal Flow documents a Pipeline Summary widget with count and total value per stage and a Revenue Forecast widget with the weighted forecast.
